Little Hiccups

Little Hiccups is a Leeds based support group that has been set up by two mums who both have children with special needs. Through personal experience they recognise the importance of allowing the parents and families of a child with a disability the opportunity to meet people in similar situations, to make friends and support each other. In our bi-monthly stay and play session (1st and 3rd Thursday), parents have a chance to chat children are able to learn through play, make friends and having fun and making new friends.

Leeds and District ABC Support Group

We aim to provide help, support and advice about services, facilities, education, care and welfare for parents and families of children displaying Autistic Spectrum Conditions including Asperger's Syndrome in the local community of residents in Leeds and surrounding areas. The Leeds ABC web site is a welcoming place for communication between adults, youngsters and parents, to share and exchange their views with others about their experiences, worries and happy moments, their interests and creative expressions, as well as their personal experiences with local professionals, the diagnosis procedure, therapies, social support and education.

Leeds SEND Information Advice Service

Information and advice for parents and carers of children with individual educational needs

The service will continue to offer home visits and support with school visits and meetings. The service will also continue to support parents through the old assessment process as well as the new Education Health Care plan assessment process and the transition between the two. Districts: Chapel Allerton.
