5 Goal Leeds and Gnonto with incredible scissor kick!
A superb scissor kick for the opening goal by Willy Gnonto. Reminiscent of the goal scored by Paulo di Canio for West Ham quite a few years ago now. Young italian Gnonto is on his way to becoming an Elland Road legend. Rodrigo has space in the penalty area and ruthlessly smashes the ball in the net. Gnonto again for the third. He cuts in from the left and beats the keeper at the near post. Patrick Bamford now scores a couple of neat goals. The first is nicely sidefooted placed to the left of the keeper. The second jabbed in low again to the left. Lovely goals or what!
Willy Gnonto will not be shaken off the ball in a crowd of defenders. He delivers it to Patrick Bamford who puts it away with no fussing. A disappointing result as we had loads of chances. But "The Villa" take all 3 points.
